Micro Transit services are “on-demand” transportation choices. LADOT wants to provide you with transportation options that fit your lifestyle and schedule. LAnow is a new on-demand shared ride service, designed by you. Pick-up and drop-off locations are never more than a few blocks (a 1/4 mile) away. You can also meet us at the LAnow Rideshare Hub at the Palms Expo Station.
Hail a ride through the LANow smartphone app, online, or by phone (818) 493-6211. Once reserved, meet your shuttle at your scheduled pick-up or drop-off point. Pick-up and drop-off points are never more than a few blocks (a 1/4 mile) away.
The Metro Bike Share system makes bikes available 24/7, 365 days a year in Downtown LA, Central LA, North Hollywood and the Westside. Metro Bike Share offers convenient round-the-clock access to a fleet of bicycles for short trips. Metro Bike Share is one of LA Metro's multiple public transportation options for Angelenos and visitors to get around.
People in Los Angeles deserve safe and comfortable transportation choices to get around this great city. That’s why LADOT created a pilot one-year permit to regulate and manage shared scooters and bicycles in Los Angeles. LADOT will work to ensure safety, comfort, and equity for all who wish to use shared scooters and bicycles.

People should have convenient choices when they travel. LADOT is working hard to provide options that help you get around without a car. That is why we’re creating Mobility Hubs.
Mobility Hubs will provide a central location to access different kinds of mobility choices and will be located around transit stations to maximize connectivity. Amenities include bus stop zones, transit shelters with real-time arrival information, bike share stations, car share facilities, taxi waiting/call areas, WI-FI service, bicycle storage, repair facilities, retail, and comfortable open spaces.
LADOT is working to identify suitable locations for Mobility Hubs. Bookmark this page for updates on the program and look out for mobility hubs near you.
