The 89th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade Supporting Marine Toys for Tots was held this past Sunday, November 28, 2021, and for this year’s live parade there was a 3.2-mile U-shaped trek through the streets of Hollywood, CA. LADOT Awarded CEC Grant to Install One of the Largest Electric Vehicle Fleet Charging Systems

LADOT has been awarded a $6 million grant by the California Energy Commission to install one of the largest electric vehicle (EV) fleet charging systems in the United States that will be powered by a solar and storage microgrid. LADOT Transit is resuming operation of the LAnow program for on-demand, shared-ride, and micro-transit service serving the Del Rey, Venice, Mar Vista, and Palms Neighborhoods of the City of Los Angeles. LAnow carried more than 10,000 riders prior to the suspension of service in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. LADOT Transit used the time during the suspension of service to upgrade and replace its LAnow smartphone application that allows riders to book and pay for trips.
