Koreatown Festival
Tomorrow marks the start of the 52nd Los Angeles Korean Festival! From October 16–19, Seoul International Park will transform into a celebration of culture, music, and food that brings together communities from across Los Angeles. This year’s theme, Beyond Boundaries,
captures the spirit of connection where every neighborhood and culture adds to the rhythm of Los Angeles.
At LADOT, we’re proud to help keep that rhythm moving. With thousands expected to attend, we’re supporting the festival free DASH service on the Wilshire Center/Koreatown route and expanded hours. If you’re heading to the festival, skip the parking hunt and hop on DASH for an easy ride straight to the fun.
We can’t wait to see Angelenos come together for this incredible weekend of culture, community, and celebration.

New Progress Pride Crosswalk Installed in Venice
Last week, LADOT joined Council District 11, Streets LA, and community partners to celebrate the re-dedication of the rainbow crosswalk at Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Santa Clara Avenue. The upgraded crosswalk, now redesigned with the Progress Pride Flag, reflects a broader commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and visibility for all members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The refreshed design includes new accessibility ramps, a pedestrian signal, and enhanced lighting to improve safety and comfort for everyone using the space. This project was made possible through a collaboration with multiple City departments and the Abbot Kinney Boulevard Association, which helped bring this vibrant public space to life.
LADOT thanks Council District 11, Streets LA, and the many partners who helped make this reimagined space a lasting symbol of pride and unity.
