LADOT Annual Report is Here

LADOT's Annual Report is Here!

I’m proud to share the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 LADOT Annual Report. Over the previous year, the department has made significant progress in advancing its core mission to design, build, and operate a safe, resilient, and accessible transportation system. The last year saw the addition of new and expanded transit services, completion of major projects, and adoption of new technology to better manage streets and deliver services.

This year’s report is structured around five guiding principles that define our work and our progress:

  • Safety: Advancing street safety through targeted investments, data-driven decisions, and projects designed to protect everyone who uses our streets.
  • Resiliency: Strengthening our transportation system to adapt to climate challenges, emergencies, and the evolving needs of our City.
  • Innovation: Leveraging new tools, technology, and forward-thinking approaches to improve how Angelenos move and how we deliver results.
  • Community: Centering the voices of residents, workers, and local stakeholders to ensure our projects reflect lived experiences across Los Angeles.
  • Transparency: Aligning teams and modernizing processes so projects move faster, and service delivery is stronger and more consistent.

Inside the Annual Report, you’ll find highlights from across the City over the last year, from major safety and mobility investments to policy advancements and community-driven initiatives that are shaping a more connected, equitable Los Angeles.

I invite you to explore the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 LADOT Annual Report and see how LADOT continues to deliver with purpose, accountability, and impact.

Choose Your Connection to the LA River Path

Choose Your Connection to the LA River Path

The LA Bureau of Engineering is applying for grant funding to build an extension of the LARiverWay bike path in the East San Fernando Valley. If successful, this grant will fund an off street bike path along the LA River from Woodman Avenue to Coldwater Canyon Avenue.

As part of this grant application, LADOT and the Bureau of Engineering want to hear from you! The City has identified three potential routes for a bike connection that links Valley Glen, Van Nuys, Studio City, and Sherman Oaks to the LARiverWay bike path. We invite the community to share their feedback on which route is preferred.

Visit LA River project webpage to learn about the three corridor options, then complete our quick LA River online survey to tell us which corridor you prefer.
