Share Your Feedback with LADOT!
At LADOT, we’re committed to making our streets safer, more accessible, and more responsive to the people who use them every day. As we continue to develop safety and design improvements across Los Angeles, I want to personally encourage you to share your voice, because community input directly shapes how these projects take form.
Several important community surveys are now in their final days. Several of these projects reflect years of outreach and planning, and this is your opportunity to weigh in before designs are finalized:
- Ohio Avenue Safety and Mobility Project: Proposed upgrades include a two-way protected bike lane on Ohio Avenue and traffic calming on nearby neighborhood streets. Share your input and complete the Ohio Avenue Project survey before it closes on January 15th.
- Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Safety and Mobility Project: Building on community input gathered since 2022, we’re sharing the final, community-informed design for this vital corridor and welcome your feedback. The final day for the survey is January 16th.
- South Broadway Safety and Mobility Project: Planned improvements along a 3.5-mile stretch in South LA aim to make travel safer and more comfortable for people who walk, bike, take transit, and drive. Don’t miss the chance to share your feedback; the South Broadway Project survey closes January 18th.
- Mobility Action Plan Survey: This citywide effort helps guide long-term transportation investments, how we prioritize safety, equity, access, and sustainability across Los Angeles. Your input will help shape the future of how Angelenos move. The survey closes January 30th.
Each survey takes just a few minutes, but the impact lasts far longer. Your feedback helps ensure our investments reflect real needs and lived experiences. Thank you for taking the time to participate and for helping us move Los Angeles forward, safely and together.

New Speed Humps Improving School Safety
Since the start of 2026, LADOT has installed a total of 33 speed humps at nine different schools across the City as part of the School Speed Hump Program. These safety improvements reaffirm the Department’s commitment to investing in safety near schools.
In 2023, LADOT began identifying schools to prioritize for safety treatments to prevent speeding, calm traffic, better organize drop-off and pick-up, and improve the environment for students walking and biking to school. Each year, LADOT has built upon the effort with more investments and new treatments reaching more schools.
The new speed humps will serve to slow vehicle speeds and keep drivers alert as students, parents, and staff walk and bike to school.
