LADOT Responds to Fire and Severe Wind

LADOT Responds to Fire and Severe Wind

As multiple City, County, and State agencies continue to respond to fires and severe winds that have caused immense damage, I want to assure you that LADOT and our City partners are taking immediate measures to keep residents safe.

As of Wednesday evening, multiple evacuation orders remain in effect. An up to date map of evacuation areas and active road closures can be seen here. Red flag parking restrictions remain in effect until further notice. Visit LAFP.org/redflag for red flag warning updates. LADOT will continue to deploy Traffic Officers to assist with traffic control and evacuation efforts.

LADWP has been working around-the-clock to restore power to households affected by the storm. If you see a downed power line, stay away and call 911. Downed trees may be reported to 311. Treat any inactive or flashing traffic signals as all-way stop signs.

To stay up-to-date on the latest information, Angelenos can follow the Emergency Management Department @ReadyLA on Twitter and Instagram, or sign up for City alerts at NotifyLA.org. Stay safe!
