Neighborhood Speed Hump Program
Tomorrow, March 21st at 9:00 AM, LADOT will accept applications for the 2024 Residential Speed Hump Program. Speeding on residential streets puts our communities at risk and is a safety concern for all Angelenos. A pedestrian hit by a vehicle going 20 miles per hour has a 90 percent chance of survival, but the likelihood of a pedestrian surviving a crash at 40 miles per hour drops to 20%. That's why LADOT uses every tool available to design streets that are safe for our most vulnerable users.
